What to expect on Sunday mornings:

We gather at 10:45am. Dress is "come as you are" -- some people wear jeans, some wear suits, as long as you are wearing clothes, you are welcome here!

We sing, we pray, we hear stories, we talk -- all in hopes that the presence of God is felt in our space, that lives are transformed and that we leave worship feeling somehow more alive. Ultimately, we hope that when you visit us, you will somehow encounter "the Holy" -- whether you want to call it God, love, Christ or community.

Children are very much welcome in our church. If they wiggle and squirm, not a problem -- that's how God made them! If they whisper or cry -- again, not a problem. They are an intentional part of our service for the first 15-20 minutes and then they are welcome to either remain in the sanctuary, or go to the Nolan House where we have classrooms and wonderful, loving teachers who await their questions and participation. We also have a baby and toddler room for up to age 3 over on the second floor of our Nolan House. All of our children and youth volunteers are "safe church" certified.

We celebrate Communion every first Sunday of the month. We offer gluten-free bread for those who need it. All are welcome to take and eat, no matter where you are on your faith journey. All ages are welcome to participate. Traditionally the Communion table is for those who are longing for the presence of Christ, we also recognize that it is a mystery, part of which we will never fully understand. The sacrament is  an earnest prayer for the presence of the Holy Spirit to unite those who partake with the Risen Christ and with each other, and to restore creation, making all things new; an intimate experience of fellowship in which the whole church in every time and place is present and divisions are overcome.

We love baptisms. Baptism is a way of recognizing what God has already done -- created a beautiful new person who belongs to God no matter what. In Baptism we welcome that child of God into our church family as an important new member and we surround that child with our love as their new aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers and sisters! And we commit to help spiritually form and nurture that individual as well.

Occasionally throughout the year we have special services -- Ash Wednesday, Good Friday, Blessing of the Animals, etc. Always check our calendar to see what we are up to.
